1. The Drifters - There Goes My Baby

    Sometime in 6th or 7th grade I saw the movie American Hot Wax with my friend Josh. It blew my mind, I remember the feeling now, this early world of music and radio and rock and roll infiltration. It had silly quotes like “You can stop me, but you’re never gonna stop rock & roll!” but ones that meant more to us then they should have.

    But the music was wonderful and beautiful. Within 6 months, it led us right into the Everly Brothers, then right into the Beatles.
