Luke Roberts - His Song
One of the better records from 2012 was Luke Roberts’ The Iron Gates at Throop and Newport.
It’s a record that sneaks up on you, the reference points are Jonathan Wilson I guess, Will Oldham, Townes Van Zandt. He’s weird like all of them, and the songs linger for a long time.
