There are many ways one can listen to this amazing song. The mixture of electric and acoustic rhythm guitar; the lyrics; the wonderful timbre on Ray Davies voice; etc. But I’d suggest a focus on the harmonies, gorgeous as they are, which accompany the lyrics during the whole song.
