Watch this for Noel Redding on bass — Redding’s favored instrument was the guitar, maybe that’s why he was so fluid on the bass playing with Hendrix, I always thought Redding and Mitch Mitchell on drums were the secret weapons here, very loose and expressive, more formal players would not have been able to provide the counterpart to the guitar.
